Large-Scale Custom Interior Signage Project Completed

Buoyant Signage recently completed the production of a large-scale custom interior signage system 

consisting of approximately 1500 sets of room number plates and directional wayfinding signs for a commercial building project.

The signage system includes room number identification plates, office area directional signs such as Office, Mail Room, 

South Door Entrance, North Door Entrance, as well as public facility identification signs including Trash Chute 

and operating hour signage such as 8AM–10PM.

All signage units were manufactured with a unified material and structural system to ensure consistency 

across the entire building environment.

Dual-Layer Stainless Steel Structure Design

This signage system is constructed using a premium dual-layer stainless steel structure designed for durability and long-term architectural use.

The front layer is made of 304 brushed stainless steel, precisely CNC laser cut to form clean and accurate text or numeric cutouts. 

The rear layer is also fabricated from 304 stainless steel, serving as a solid backing panel to provide structural strength and installation stability.

Between the two stainless steel layers, a white solid acrylic ｉｎｓｅｒｔ is embedded as a light-reflective backing material. 

Through the precision-cut stainless steel openings, the white acrylic creates a clean visual contrast that enhances readability 

without the need for illumination.

This layered structure provides a modern, minimal architectural appearance while maintaining excellent visibility 

in both bright and low-light interior environments.

Precision Manufacturing Process

Each sign is manufactured through a controlled multi-step production process.

304 stainless steel sheets are first laser cut according to engineering drawings, ensuring accurate typography 

and consistent spacing across all signage types. After cutting, each metal component is carefully edge-finished 

and polished to remove burrs and achieve smooth, clean surfaces.

The white acrylic backing layer is then precisely cut and inserted between the two stainless steel panels. 

The components are aligned and bonded into a single rigid structure, ensuring perfect registration 

between the cutout lettering and the internal acrylic fill.

Every completed signage unit undergoes strict quality inspection, including dimensional checks, 

surface finish inspection, and assembly alignment verification before packaging.

The brushed stainless steel surface provides a premium metallic texture that integrates seamlessly
