For large-scale campuses and retail environments, a well-designed wayfinding system

In this project, Buoyant Signage delivered a comprehensive signage system for BYD campuses and retail locations, 

combining multiple product types into a unified visual and functional solution. The system is designed to improve wayfinding efficiency, 

enhance customer experience, and maintain strong brand consistency throughout the environment.

Integrated Signage System Design

The project includes four key signage elements, each tailored to specific functional needs while maintaining a consistent design language. 

Together, these components create a cohesive system that supports both navigation and brand communication across various touchpoints.

Floor-Standing Brochure Holder

The floor-standing brochure holder is designed as an accessible information point for visitors.

Featuring a slanted-top vertical structure in a soft beige finish, complemented by BYD’s signature red accent, 

the unit offers a clean and modern appearance. A dedicated A4 display slot allows for the organized presentation of brochures, 

promotional materials, and visitor guides. Ideal for showroom entrances, reception areas, and visitor centers, this unit 

helps guests quickly access key information while reinforcing brand visibility.

Vertical Display Rack

The vertical display rack expands on the same structural concept with added functionality.
Finished in a refined silver-gray tone, it incorporates transparent acrylic shelves for displaying brochures, 

branded merchandise, and marketing materials. The top section highlights the BYD logo, 

while the base features a distinctive decorative panel that enhances visual appeal. By combining display and wayfinding functions, 

this unit is well suited for showrooms, brand experience centers, and customer-facing spaces.

Campus Directional Signage Totem

For large industrial campuses, clear directional guidance is critical.
The project includes tall, freestanding directional totems designed to guide both visitors 

and employees through complex site layouts. Each sign features the BYD logo at the top, along with clearly defined 

directional arrows and zone names such as production areas, residential zones, and administrative buildings.
Strategically placed at entrances, intersections, and key circulation points, these signs serve as the backbone 

of the campus wayfinding system.

Retail Store Directional Signage

A dedicated signage solution was also developed for BYD retail stores and service centers.
Using a layered red, white, and gray color scheme, these signs clearly identify functional areas such as after-sales service zones, 

test-drive areas, charging stations, and exhibition spaces. The integrated BYD logo reinforces brand presence, 

while the clear layout helps guide customer flow efficiently within the store environment.

Consistent Branding Across All Environments

All signage elements share a unified color palette and design language aligned with BYD’s brand identity. 

This consistency ensures a seamless visual experience across both industrial campuses and retail locations.

Beyond aesthetics, the system improves navigation clarity, reduces confusion, and enhances the overall user 

experience for both visitors and staff.

including metal forming, welding, and professional surface finishing. The result is a durable and reliable signage system
